Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior professional baking experience preferred
  • availability for full time or part time schedules
  • availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
  • ability to handle physical demands of baking work
  • capability to maintain cleanliness and organize workspace
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • willingness to comply with safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
  • assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and production standards
  • assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and inventory
  • ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures
  • maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work area
  • handle food items safely following all safety regulations
  • clean equipment and workstation thoroughly
  • interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
  • keep up with peak production and service calmly and efficiently
  • check that all food is presented and displayed per standards
  • follow principles of sanitation and safety
  • complete shift work in a timely manner
  • perform other duties as assigned
