Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience in baking or related field
Knowledge of baking methods and procedures
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately
Familiarity with food safety and sanitation protocols
Effective communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven baking experience in a commercial bakery setting
Knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and decorating methods
Ability to use bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers and sheeters
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with customer service
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
Proficient in basic math and inventory rotation
capable of using point-of-sale systems or sales software such as Salesforce

Job Duties

Produce entire line of baked goods including cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and biscotti
Ensure quality by following recipes, prep procedures, and maintaining raw materials
Bake and decorate products following Carlos Bakery standards
Maintain pace of store and customer flow
Avoid overproduction during slow periods
Rotate products using FIFO method
Use bakery equipment properly including ovens, mixers, sheeters, scales, walk-in and freezer
Maintain clean production area
Clean and sanitize equipment, work areas, containers and utensils
Prepare special orders to meet customer specifications
Provide exceptional customer service and assist front-of-house staff
Greet and assist guests in a courteous, friendly and business-like manner
Take specialty cake orders and enter sales information into Salesforce
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
Perform additional duties as directed by management
