Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role
- Ability to work full time Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Capability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks required by the position
- Commitment to following corporate and OSHA safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous baking or culinary experience preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and food production standards
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries according to production and catering sheets
- Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- Ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of equipment and work area
- Track production records including waste and shortages and report to supervisor
- Ensure proper food presentation, quality, portion control and serving temperature
- Handle food safely and comply with safety regulations
- Engage with customers to resolve complaints and relay concerns to supervisors
- Operate efficiently during peak production times
- Follow sanitation and safety principles according to corporate and OSHA standards
- Complete assigned shift work thoroughly and on time
- Perform other duties as assigned
