Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role
  • Ability to work full time Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Capability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required by the position
  • Commitment to following corporate and OSHA safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous baking or culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and food production standards
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries according to production and catering sheets
  • Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • Ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards
  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of equipment and work area
  • Track production records including waste and shortages and report to supervisor
  • Ensure proper food presentation, quality, portion control and serving temperature
  • Handle food safely and comply with safety regulations
  • Engage with customers to resolve complaints and relay concerns to supervisors
  • Operate efficiently during peak production times
  • Follow sanitation and safety principles according to corporate and OSHA standards
  • Complete assigned shift work thoroughly and on time
  • Perform other duties as assigned
