Job Requirements
- Prior scratch baking and decorating experience required
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:45 pm
- Willingness to work in Plano, TX location
- Ability to handle peak production demands calmly and efficiently
- Compliance with company sanitation and safety standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and customers
- Capability to maintain a clean and orderly work environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience with scratch baking and decoration
- Ability to follow recipes and production specifications closely
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Competency in operating baking equipment
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
- Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- Utilize approved recipes and follow production standards
- Use proper equipment for food preparation
- Complete production records including waste tracking, used/unused portions, and product shortages
- Notify supervisor when supplies are low
- Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils
- Handle food items safely and comply with all safety regulations
- Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
- Relay relevant customer concerns to supervisors
- Maintain efficiency during peak production and service
- Check that all food is presented, served, and displayed per standards
- Follow sanitation and safety principles, including OSHA standards
- Complete assigned shift work thoroughly and timely
- Perform other duties as assigned
