Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and/or walk 100% of the time
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to frequently lift up to 20 lbs
- Availability to work full-time or part-time as needed
- Willingness to adhere to union work agreements and dress codes
- Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in baking or culinary arts preferred
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Knowledge of baking measurements including metric and imperial
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
Job Duties
- Following recipes
- Scaling, mixing, baking and packaging baked goods
- Labeling, dating and storing foods properly
- Maintaining correct portion sizes, freshness and quality
- Stocking retail space with baked goods and maintain the retail space presentation
- Following cleaning schedule as provided by management
- Utilizing clean as you go techniques
- Maintain an open line of communication with management regarding products and supplies needed
- Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene
- Follow Parkhurst gold standards and use smile plus hospitality imperatives
- Assist fellow associates at every opportunity
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
