Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
prior baking experience preferred
ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
good oral and written communication skills
ability to follow instructions precisely
willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
willingness to comply with uniform and hygiene standards
ability to work well in a team environment

ability to follow recipes accurately
experience with scaling and mixing ingredients
attention to detail in labeling and food storage
ability to maintain portion control and product quality

Job Duties

following recipes
scaling, mixing, baking and packaging baked goods
labeling, dating and storing foods properly
maintaining correct portion sizes, freshness and quality
stocking retail space with baked goods and maintain the retail space presentation
following cleaning schedule as provided by management and utilizing clean as you go techniques
maintain communication with management regarding products and supplies
follow uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene
follow Parkhurst gold standards and use smile plus hospitality imperatives
assist fellow associates at every opportunity
perform other duties as assigned by management
