Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • experience in a manufacturing or bakery environment preferred
  • ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds and stand for 8 to 10 hour shifts
  • willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • knowledge of OSHA and HACCP safety standards
  • ability to follow detailed standard operating procedures
  • physical capability to perform tasks involving crouching, climbing, and bending
  • commitment to workplace safety and quality

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED certificate
  • ability to read and understand written bakery formulas
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • adaptability and self-motivation
  • clear, concise, and timely written and oral communication skills

Job Duties

  • Review all pertinent SOP's and act as a Qualified Individual for the position
  • prepare and mix bread dough according to bakery formulas and production schedules
  • bake dough following defined procedures
  • record bakery batch information and communicate details to the next shift
  • keep lids closed on salt and dough conditioner containers when not in use
  • perform sanitation activities in the bakery area
  • ensure compliance with quality, food safety, 5S, OSHA, and HACCP programs
  • participate in safety and operational excellence initiatives
