Job Requirements
- Scheduled as early as 6:00am
- You must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Part-time Ambassadors must have at least 3 days of unrestricted (12 continuous hrs. within operating hours for the area) availability to include at least one weekend day and holidays
- Ability to perform extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift
- Ability to climb/ascend heights if needed
- Ability to perform physical activities including kneeling, squatting, bending floor-to-waist/waist-to-overhead, reaching overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather including extreme heat
- Ability to be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremes
- Ability to perform cleaning duties including use of cleaning chemicals
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Flexible work schedule including opening, mid-, and closing shifts
- Available nights, weekends, and holidays
- Flexible in work locations based on business needs and career development opportunities
Job Qualifications
- Previous culinary arts education preferred
- 1-2 years of bakery production or deli experience required
- Prior experience in a high-volume bakery environment
- Energetic, willing to learn and work as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Basic knife skills and knowledge of cake decorating
- Ability to carry, push, pull, and lift 50 pounds
- Knowledge of basic COVID-19 food and beverage safety requirements
- Strong communication, customer service, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours/shifts
Job Duties
- Follow and measure recipes
- Mix, scale, and bake a wide variety of products
- Ensure proper set up and breakdown of equipment
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment
- Work as part of a team to provide excellent guest service
- Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Consistently practices safe work habits
- Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, vendors and our guests
- Perform other duties as assigned
