Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of food service experience
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
  • dependable
  • able to work weekends and holidays
  • able to stand for long periods
  • able to lift up to 30lbs occasionally
  • able to work extended hours during peak seasons
  • strong communication skills

  • must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law

Job Duties

  • maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • provide prompt and efficient customer service
  • display knowledge of the food and beverage menu
  • take guests food and/or drink orders and relay them to kitchen or bar
  • serve beverages and prepared meals to guests accurately and timely
  • adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and stopping service to intoxicated guests
  • check back to ensure guest satisfaction and replenish items as necessary
  • suggest and serve dessert, coffee and other applicable items
  • handle all cash and/or credit card payments following standard operating procedures
  • keep tables, dining room and workstations sanitized and organized
  • listen and respond to customer complaints
  • perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned
  • perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
