Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- high School diploma or equivalent
- computer experience necessary
- previous customer service experience preferred
- must have reliable telephone and transportation
- must have prior baggage service or airline experience
- treat all information as confidential
- possess tact to deal with passengers, client representatives and employees
- able to sit, stand, lift and/or bend throughout the shift
- must pass pre-employment drug test
- must pass pre-employment criminal background check
- able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
- meet requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- able to verbally direct in English
- US citizen or possess authorization from INS
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensure that carousel agents make baggage arrival announcements providing information and instructions
- monitor the delivery of baggage and handle irregularities in the internal baggage process
- ensure initiation of files for lost, damaged, and pilfered baggage and completion of tracing activity daily
- coordinate return of delayed luggage and preparation of Bag Delivery Orders
- process and secure unclaimed luggage within 90 minutes and update records in SABRE
- maintain communication with ramp services regarding bag deliveries or missing bags
- keep Baggage Manager informed of needs and problems, maintain cleanliness and report maintenance needs
