Job Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- eligible to work in the United States
- must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English including documents
- ability to use electronic devices such as iPads, tablets, computers, and mobile devices
- effective communication skills
- pass a background check and drug screen
- eligibility to obtain required credentials and clearances such as FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal as applicable
- availability to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods indoors and outdoors
- ability to push, pull, and work at elevated heights
- ability to reach with arms and grasp with hands
- ability to bend, stretch, squat, and kneel
- capability to work in moderate to high noise levels
- ability to hear and respond to audible alarms and spoken voice
- ability to perform repetitive arm, wrist, hand, and finger motions
- visual acuity including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

- ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operation
Job Duties
- Load and unload passenger luggage and cargo on and off aircraft
- operate baggage handling equipment such as conveyor belts and trolleys
- sort and route baggage to the correct flight and carousel
- ensure timely delivery of baggage to and from aircraft
- inspect baggage for damage or security risks and report any issues
- follow safety guidelines and procedures while handling baggage
- work closely with other ground staff to ensure efficient baggage processing
- maintain cleanliness and organization in the baggage handling area
- collaborate with security personnel to ensure adherence to airport security measures
- participate in training sessions on baggage handling procedures and equipment
- coordinate with airline staff for special luggage handling, such as oversized or fragile items
- record and report baggage handling activities as per company and airport regulations
- exceed customer service and safety standards set by PrimeFlight
- perform any additional duties as assigned by management
