Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • must have a valid driver’s license
  • original or certified copy of a birth certificate, unexpired US passport, permanent resident card, or unexpired US territory passport with I-94
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods
  • willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to follow prescribed safety and operational procedures
  • pass background criminal history check, drug screening, and fingerprinting
  • possess excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance including background check, drug screen, and fingerprinting
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • basic math skills for counting and verifying cargo
  • proficiency in English for oral communication
  • physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently

Job Duties

  • Load and unload aircraft baggage and cargo
  • operate ground support equipment such as tugs, tractors, and belt loaders
  • maintain safety standards using personal protective gear
  • carry, lift, and move heavy items frequently
  • perform tasks in fast-paced, noisy, and active environments
  • stand for extended periods and work in physically demanding positions
  • follow airline and airport procedures for baggage handling
