Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Pass criminal background check for airport access
- Be able to lift baggage over 60 pounds
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work full-time
- Flexible schedule to accommodate varied shifts
- Must be able to bend, crawl, and move in tight aircraft spaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or ground support operations is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Familiarity with airport security procedures is advantageous
- Ability to operate forklifts and possession of OSHA certification is a plus
- Experience with aircraft tug operations and trailer driving is beneficial
- Strong physical capability to handle heavy lifting and maneuver in confined spaces
Job Duties
- Operate airport vehicles including aircraft tugs and trailers when required
- Load and unload baggage, ensuring proper handling of items exceeding 60 pounds
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and airport security protocols
- Assist with aircraft ground support tasks such as positioning and securing equipment
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate efficient airport logistics and operations
- Complete required documentation and reports related to daily operations
