Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • no high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
  • must be able to communicate in English
  • one year of prior work experience preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift baggage
  • willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Meet and greet passengers in baggage claim areas
  • assist with lost, delayed, or damaged luggage issues
  • log flights and monitor baggage delivery
  • update records for late-arriving bags
  • initiate and update files for lost, damaged, or stolen baggage using airline systems
  • work with ramp services and delivery vendors to ensure timely return of baggage
  • provide airport and airline information to passengers
  • make baggage arrival announcements
  • follow FAA, airline, and company regulations
  • adhere to safety and security standards
  • handle unclaimed luggage
  • prepare delivery orders
  • maintain accurate documentation
