Job Duties
- Load passenger luggage onto conveyor belts with proper spacing to avoid jams
- assist airline ticket counter staff with baggage handling
- read IATA tickets to determine flight departure times and connecting carriers
- screen interline passengers before placing bags on return belts
- verify accurate baggage tagging
- handle misplaced or lost baggage claims and provide reports to carriers
- assist customers with delayed, damaged, or pilfered baggage
- evaluate customer needs relative to airline locations
- meet station attendance standards
- perform other assigned duties
