Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • no prior experience required and on-the-job training provided
  • no high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  • one year of prior work experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift and move heavy items often up to 70 lbs
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • good communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • valid driver’s license may be required for operating airport vehicles

Job Duties

  • Assist passengers with checking in luggage and ensure proper tagging
  • load and unload baggage from aircraft, carts, and conveyor belts
  • transport luggage to designated areas using appropriate equipment
  • handle lost, delayed, or damaged baggage claims and assist passengers with resolutions
  • operate baggage handling systems and follow safety protocols
  • coordinate with airline staff and ground crew to ensure timely baggage delivery
  • maintain accurate records of baggage transactions and incidents
  • provide courteous and professional service to passengers and team members
