Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- FAA Airport required identification seals or authorizations
- Flexibility to work variable shifts weekends and holidays
- Ability to work extended hours on short notice
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Physical ability to lift up to 70lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods

- Capacity to work extended hours on short notice during irregular operations
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Possession or maintenance of FAA Airport required identification seals or authorizations
- Experience in aviation ground handling or related fields preferred
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Lift baggage and cargo weighing up to 70lbs when loading and unloading aircraft carts and containers
- Load and unload over 100 items for a single aircraft
- Push and pull loaded and empty carts and containers during loading and unloading operations
- Couple and uncouple carts and cargo container dollies
- Ascend and descend jet-way stairs while carrying baggage
- Bend stoop and crawl to move and stack unstack cargo in aircraft and containers
- Stand for up to 4 hours in all weather conditions to upload or unload cargo and direct traffic
- Walk continuously to load unload cargo from pallets containers carts or conveyor belts
- Complete safety checklists for motorized equipment
- Drive and operate motorized equipment such as tug and belt loader
- Read and interpret aircraft load sheets checked baggage tags and cargo labels
- Operate a computer to enter and retrieve data for weight and balance purposes
- Count baggage and cargo being uploaded unloaded during operations
- Connect support equipment to aircraft such as PC Air GPU etc
- Use signalling devices to communicate with co-workers or flight crew
- Ensure compliance with dnata TSA and Federal Aviation Administration FAA regulations and policies
- Other duties as assigned
