Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food production or manufacturing preferred
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- ability to work standing for extended periods
- availability to work first shift hours and overtime as required
- ability to perform simple math functions
- willingness to perform sanitation duties
- capable of following detailed instructions and maintaining records
- ability to work on short notice
- strong attention to safety protocols and good housekeeping practices
- effective communication skills
Job Qualifications

- experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- ability to operate packaging equipment and perform minor maintenance tasks
- proficiency in basic math skills
- ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines

Job Duties
- Review pertinent information with the previous shift i.e. mechanical issues etc
- perform a variety of job duties in the production make-up and packaging operations including covering call-offs and vacations
- pack on the line when not operating packaging equipment
- back up and relieve the positions of set up, bagger/robotics operator, and basket unstacker
- change over, maintain, clean, and operate equipment
- perform operator driven reliability tasks such as changing and adjusting parts (belts, changeover parts)
- perform simple math functions including calculate percentages, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- perform some heavy lifting as required
- remove trash as necessary
- neatly and accurately fill out all necessary documentation such as HACCP and CTS
- maintain a safe, neat, and clean work area in accordance with GMP and good housekeeping practices
- communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
- follow all job safety analysis (JSA) guidelines
