- must be able to follow food safety protocols
- capable of performing physically demanding tasks
- reliable and punctual
- basic English literacy and numeracy skills
Job Qualifications
- kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required
- strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- read, write and speak English at a minimum 6th grade level
- follow written and verbal instructions and complete high school level computational skills
Job Duties
- assist in preparing nutritious, non-traditional hospital meals
- maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
- support food prep, dishwashing, and storage
- work collaboratively to ensure smooth operations
- adhere to SPHP's code of conduct
