Job Requirements

  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • comfortable working in a hot and noisy environment
  • manual dexterity to handle kitchen equipment and utensils safely

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in a fast food or restaurant kitchen is preferred but not required
  • knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment operation
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food quality
  • excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends evenings and holidays

Job Duties

  • prepare menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • ensure all food items are cooked and presented according to quality and portion control standards
  • operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently such as grills fryers and ovens
  • monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked properly
  • assemble orders accurately and promptly to meet customer demands
  • follow all food safety guidelines and procedures including proper handwashing sanitation and storage practices
  • maintain a clean and organized work area including cleaning kitchen surfaces equipment and utensils
