Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation or kitchen environment preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to stand for extended periods and handle physically demanding tasks
- capacity to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain focus under pressure
- willingness to adhere to health and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a kitchen or foodservice environment preferred but not required
- knowledge of Vermont food safety regulations and practices
- ability to work collaboratively within a team
- strong attention to detail ensuring food quality and consistency
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects

Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients and components for dishes according to menu specifications
- cook food items following standardized recipes and safety temperature guidelines
- assemble dishes as per chef or customer specifications
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas including counters, utensils, and equipment
- comply with Vermont health and safety regulations for food handling and sanitation
- monitor inventory levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies
- assist in receiving deliveries and proper storage of food and supplies
- report equipment malfunctions to management
- work efficiently and collaboratively with BOH and FOH staff
- assist in training new kitchen staff as needed
