Job Duties

  • Cleans and sanitizes assigned public areas in accordance with company policy
  • assists front desk associates with deliveries to guest and meeting rooms and the cleaning of guest rooms after hours
  • assists the executive housekeeper as needed with deliveries, cots, cribs, trash, etc
  • ensures hotel equipment such as carts, vacuums, and housekeeping equipment are maintained properly and secured
  • provides excellent customer service that goes above and beyond to the hotel's guests
  • maintains, tracks and completes daily worksheet of mini-bar stock
  • maintains mini-bar pantry including par stock, organization, and cleanliness
  • ensures products in mini-bar are not expired and complies with procedures to remove expired products
  • ensures rotation of all mini-bar products
  • maintains assigned mini-bar carts
  • maintains and completes assigned floors and rooms requesting mini-bar service
  • follows required safety and standard operating procedures
  • reports all mini-bar concerns to management including any guest issues
  • receives, evaluates condition, separates, and launders soiled linen from guest rooms
  • prepares required F&B linen in a timely fashion
  • examines laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceability
  • folds and/or presses linen as appropriate
  • maintains linen and laundry supplies such as cleaning and starching agents
  • sweeps, mops, and maintains cleanliness of laundry room
  • stores folded laundered items in linen supply area
  • conducts inventories as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager
  • keeps linen area clean, stocked and organized
  • properly attired in uniform and nametag in accordance with franchise and company grooming and uniform policy
  • communicates with superiors and co-workers about the status of guest requests and assigned tasks
  • replenishes mini-bar items in rooms
  • reports all incidents and injuries to the appropriate supervisor
  • provides input and ideas on the operation of the hotel
  • participates in training initiatives and skill development
  • completes any other task requested by a supervisor, including training new associates
