Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extensive periods without breaks
- Exposure to heat, smoke, and cold environments
- Ability to reach heights of up to six feet and depths of approximately three feet
- High level of mobility and flexibility to work in confined spaces for up to eight hours or longer
- Effective communication with peers, managers, and guests
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in food preparation or restaurant environment preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to food safety standards
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food handling
- Customer service orientation
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Prep food products
- Ensure food products are stored properly according to food safety protocols
- Prepare customer orders accurately and timely
- Perform all responsibilities and tasks according to Newk's standards, policies, and procedures for operational excellence
- Help maintain a sanitary, safe, respectful, efficient, and high-quality work environment
