Job Requirements

  • 16 years of age or older
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Comfortable with exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment
  • Able to work in cold warehouse conditions
  • Available for variable hours including long hours in summer
  • Forklift and propane training completion
  • Non-exempt employment status

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Valid California Driver's License for driving company vehicles
  • Current forklift certification for operating forklift
  • Ability to work long hours during summer months
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

Job Duties

  • Stocking wines in each bar, on floor and in stocking area
  • Busing and washing glasses, carafes, plates, and utensils for each bar, and for events
  • Assist Hospitality department in event setup and breakdown
  • Pack wine for on-site customers
  • Take out empty bottles and cardboard each night
  • Check and clean grounds, pathways, and parking lots each morning
  • Remove garbage from cans to the dumpster
  • Act as a parking attendant, confirming reservations at gate entrance and/or directing customers in parking on busy days
  • Setup and tear down tables, chairs, decorations, etc. for events
  • Assist with janitorial duties including sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning bars and rest rooms
  • Assist in retail or wine warehouses
  • May use company vehicles to pick up or deliver goods to/from vendors
  • May use a forklift
