Job Requirements
- 16 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable with exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment
- Able to work in cold warehouse conditions
- Available for variable hours including long hours in summer
- Forklift and propane training completion
- Non-exempt employment status
Job Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Valid California Driver's License for driving company vehicles
- Current forklift certification for operating forklift
- Ability to work long hours during summer months
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Job Duties
- Stocking wines in each bar, on floor and in stocking area
- Busing and washing glasses, carafes, plates, and utensils for each bar, and for events
- Assist Hospitality department in event setup and breakdown
- Pack wine for on-site customers
- Take out empty bottles and cardboard each night
- Check and clean grounds, pathways, and parking lots each morning
- Remove garbage from cans to the dumpster
- Act as a parking attendant, confirming reservations at gate entrance and/or directing customers in parking on busy days
- Setup and tear down tables, chairs, decorations, etc. for events
- Assist with janitorial duties including sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning bars and rest rooms
- Assist in retail or wine warehouses
- May use company vehicles to pick up or deliver goods to/from vendors
- May use a forklift
