Job Requirements

  • Must be punctual and wear the established uniform
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of 4-6 hours per shift
  • Capable of lifting and carrying items weighing 30-50 pounds
  • Must be able to follow recipes completely including labeling and storage instructions
  • Able to handle repetitive movements including bending and twisting
  • Comfortable working in close physical proximity with others
  • Willing to work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
  • Ability to wear protective or safety equipment as required
  • Must maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all work areas

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and operations
  • Strong coordination and active listening skills
  • Ability to learn and apply safety and sanitation standards
  • Prior experience in food preparation is an asset but not required

Job Duties

  • Prepare food by following recipes and labeling and storing ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space
  • Work assigned positions on the kitchen line during meal service while keeping work area tidy
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Clean and breakdown kitchen equipment at the end of shifts as directed
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines strictly
  • Use food preparation equipment safely and efficiently
