Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous food service experience preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • ability to maintain a professional and polished demeanor

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while supporting and promoting company values
  • perform responsibilities in accordance with company standards policies and procedures
  • maintain in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage offerings and confidently explain the menu making recommendations
  • follow the department's steps of service consistently to ensure high-quality guest experience
  • deliver food from kitchen to correct table in a timely and professional manner ensuring proper presentation garnishes temperature and quality
  • provide bread and water service according to standards
  • monitor guest satisfaction anticipate guest needs and address concerns or requests promptly escalating issues to servers or management when appropriate
  • communicate effectively with kitchen expo and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and accurate orders
  • assist with setting up maintaining and breaking down dining room service stations and expo areas including condiments utensils and napkins
  • clear tables and service areas of dirty dishes and glassware using prescribed methods
  • maintain cleanliness organization and proper sanitation in all work areas including dining room kitchen back bar and service stations
  • adhere to all health safety and sanitation standards at all times
  • provide attentive friendly and personalized service throughout the dining experience
  • assist with additional tasks as directed by supervisors or managers
