Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must adhere to health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a food server in a high-end or fine dining restaurant preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus including wine pairings
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain professional and polished
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff
Job Duties
- Redefine hospitality at Graton Resort and Casino while supporting and promoting company values
- Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage offerings to explain the menu confidently and enthusiastically
- Follow the steps of service consistently as outlined by the department
- Take accurate food and beverage orders including seasonal menu recommendations, cooking preferences, and wine pairings
- Proficiently use the POS system
- Deliver food and beverages promptly ensuring correct orders and presentation
- Provide attentive, friendly, and personalized service throughout the dining experience
- Maintain an organized and clean work area including the dining room and service stations
- Anticipate guest needs and address any concerns or requests timely
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and accurate orders
- Process payments accurately while handling cash or credit transactions following company procedures
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area as assigned
