Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of experience in restaurant service preferably in a high-end or fine dining setting
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • team-oriented mindset
  • professional appearance and demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant service preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • proficiency with POS systems
  • ability to provide excellent customer service
  • familiarity with wine and beverage pairings is a plus

Job Duties

  • redefine hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while supporting and promoting company values
  • perform responsibilities in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures
  • maintain in-depth knowledge of food and beverage offerings to confidently explain menu to guests
  • follow steps of service consistently
  • take accurate food and beverage orders including recommendations for seasonal menu items, cooking preferences, and wine pairings
  • proficiently use POS system
  • deliver food and beverages promptly ensuring correct orders and presentation
  • provide attentive, friendly, and personalized service
  • maintain an organized and clean work area including dining room and service stations
  • anticipate guest needs and address concerns in a timely manner
  • communicate effectively with kitchen staff for smooth service
  • process payments accurately and handle transactions following procedures
  • adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • assist with setting up and breaking down dining area
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
