Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in upscale restaurant management
- Proven track record managing unionized teams
- Knowledge of labor laws and compliance
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a restaurant director or similar leadership role in fine dining
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and luxury service standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Financial acumen including budgeting and cost control
- Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Exceptional guest service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with culinary teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Redefine hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while promoting company values
- Perform responsibilities in accordance with Company standards, policies, and procedures
- Enforce Food Operation Department responsibilities per company policies and union contract
- Lead and manage all restaurant operations for consistent service excellence
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to uphold fine dining standards
- Monitor financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue growth
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure menu execution aligns with brand vision
- Handle guest relations with discretion and professionalism
- Oversee staff scheduling and station assignments ensuring operational flow and compliance with Union agreements
- Adapt duties as assigned by Management to meet business needs
