Job Requirements
- FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL)
- FAA Authorized Technician certification
- previous experience installing and maintaining FAA AWOS systems
- strong understanding of FAA regulations governing aviation weather systems
- proficiency with electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools
- excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- valid driver's license with clean driving record
- ability to travel 70-80 percent of the time including overnight stays
- physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Duties
- Install, configure, and commission FAA-certified AWOS systems at customer sites nationwide
- perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of AWOS equipment
- conduct system upgrades and modifications in accordance with FAA standards
- complete all required FAA documentation and certifications for installed systems
- provide technical support and training to customers on AWOS operation and maintenance
- maintain detailed service records and documentation for all field activities
- coordinate with project management and engineering teams on installation schedules and technical requirements
- ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and Mesotech quality standards
