Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • current CNA or HHA certificate valid in Massachusetts
  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • must have a valid US drivers license for at least one year
  • must be able to become CPR and First Aid certified within 2 weeks
  • must be able to become MAP certified within 90 days
  • must pass CORI, reference, national fingerprinting, certification, and driving record check

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • current CNA certificate or HHA certificate valid in Massachusetts
  • strong time management skills
  • strong writing skills
  • ability to become CPR and First Aid certified within 2 weeks
  • ability to become MAP certified within 90 days
  • successful completion of CORI, reference, national fingerprinting, certification, and driving record checks

Job Duties

  • assist persons served with activities of daily living
  • administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan guidelines
  • help individuals become more a part of their communities
  • employ rehabilitation values, principles, and techniques including skills training
  • assist in overcoming barriers to independence
  • maintain high quality standards within the program
  • collaborate with families, friends, and support staff to improve client outcomes
