Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of logistics/marine insurance brokerage experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to make and communicate difficult decisions
- Solid understanding of carrier underwriting practices and processes
- Validated leadership skills
- Proven client facing skills
- Experience in resource deployment and utilization management
- Strong social skills and ability to interact at various levels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced driven environment
- Sales experience preferred
- Must maintain appropriate broker’s license
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Market new and renewal business, handling all aspects of the placements from initial market selection through policy delivery to client
- Ensure that placements are handled accurately and on time
- Build and maintain detailed knowledge of logistics liability and shipper’s interest insurance marketplace, products and services
- Develop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and Aon local office teams
- Identify and analyze prospect and client exposures
- Coordinate activities with other internal units as required to meet customer needs
- Present to local account executives, participate in RFPs, client meetings and conference calls
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive-level clients in broking, designing, selling and servicing complex accounts
- Serve as a primary internal source for information concerning market trends, pricing practices and underwriting policies
- Plan, schedule, resource and drive large projects and programs
- Frequently interact with senior level colleagues and clients
