Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, communication, public relations, non-profit management or closely related field
  • Five years of experience in fundraising, event management or hospitality industry
  • Ability to manage complex events and cultivate donor relationships
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Proficiency in event budgeting and financial oversight
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to personal development and participation in professional associations

Job Qualifications

  • Five years of experience in fundraising, event management or hospitality industry
  • Ability to manage complex events and cultivate donor relationships
  • Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor stewardship
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Proficiency in event budgeting and financial oversight
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred master's degree in business management, communications, public relations, non-profit management or related field
  • Preferred seven years of experience with advanced training in fundraising management

Job Duties

  • Implement, grow and manage aspects of the HonorHealth Foundation Events Fundraising Program
  • Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward external and internal event donors and sponsors
  • Maintain and grow donor pipeline including acquisition, retention and recapture of donors
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and event partners
  • Negotiate agreements to ensure cost efficiency and quality service
  • Oversee event budget and associated financial documentation
  • Coordinate event environment including signage and branding
  • Manage on-site event execution
  • Analyze event operations and implement improvements
  • Drive strategies for special fundraising and community outreach events
  • Coordinate growth of external events and cause marketing opportunities
  • Create and maintain event invitation criteria
  • Analyze attendance trends for effective invitee management
  • Supervise invitation production, mailing and response tracking
  • Utilize Foundation database tools for tracking and reporting events
  • Participate in professional associations for fundraising knowledge and skill enhancement
  • Accomplish annual personal development goals
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
