Job Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in an avionics or US commercial aerospace industry
- Educated to degree level in telecommunication, computer or electronics engineering from a recognized institution
- Willing to travel frequently (50 percent) to visit customers and provide pre/post-sales support
- Knowledge of US airlines, maintenance organizations, and their personnel is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Able to logically analyze technical issues and determine potential causes
- Possess initiative with a positive customer-focused attitude
- Able to work independently and a team player
Job Qualifications
- Educated to degree level in telecommunication, computer or electronics engineering from a recognized institution
- Certification or knowledge of avionics or aviation engineering, military avionics, or a pilot certificate is an added advantage
- At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in avionics or the US commercial aerospace industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to logically analyze technical issues and determine potential causes
- Positive customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Focus on promotion of products into the US commercial aerospace market including equipment OEMs, airframe OEMs, and repair centers
- Work with customers in the United States on functionality, integration and technical problem-solving using Avionics test solutions
- Support sales, product management, and business development teams in growing sales order book
- Identify and create new strategic sales opportunities, programs, and projects
- Provide demonstrations and training support for Avionics Test products
- Provide technical assistance to regional sales managers, sales representatives, distributors, partners, and customers
- Participate in aerospace industry technical meetings and trade shows
- Build and maintain close relationships with key customers
- Act as first point of contact for customers via email and phone
- Provide feedback on potential new functionality and growth opportunities
- Assist with general day-to-day tasks associated with the Avionics Test business as time permits
