Job Qualifications

  • Has held a repairman certificate or equivalent for avionics
  • minimum of 3+ years experience with electronics or avionics installation, preferably in general aviation
  • strong knowledge of aircraft systems including airframe structures, engines, propellers, electrical and hydraulic systems, landing gear, and environmental controls
  • proven ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to obtain a repairman certificate

Job Duties

  • Perform ICA inspections, avionics installations, IFR and RVSM certifications
  • troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system malfunctions
  • ensure all work complies with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, service bulletins, and company policies
  • accurately document work performed including parts used, discrepancies found, and corrective actions taken in maintenance records
  • maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained
  • communicate effectively with pilots, customers, and avionics personnel regarding aircraft status and findings
  • stay current with industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes
  • adhere to all safety procedures and practices
  • perform other duties as assigned
