Job Requirements
- US citizenship
- Current final Secret security clearance
- Ability to work onsite at RAF Fairford, UK
- Willingness to work six-day work weeks and variable shifts
- Capability to deploy worldwide as required
- Compliance with security and safety protocols
- Ability to live in government furnished quarters if needed
Job Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience with U-2 aircraft systems
- Five or more years of general aircraft maintenance experience
- Knowledge of electrical and avionics troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Experience with fiber optics repair preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Current final Secret security clearance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform duties on the flight line and phase dock as directed
- Troubleshoot electrical and avionics systems
- Conduct power-on operational checks
- Provide informal on-the-job training to Air Force personnel
- Interpret technical data and wiring diagrams
- Adhere to U-2 maintenance and safety protocols
- Participate in mobility and deployment training
