Job Requirements

  • Physically able to perform duties safely and efficiently

  • One year of specialized experience at FV-H, FG/GS-12 level
  • Meet all medical requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities relevant to the position

Job Qualifications

  • One year of specialized experience at FV-H, FG/GS-12 level
  • Experience conducting flight attendant training
  • Experience investigating public complaints and aircraft incidents
  • Experience conducting enforcement investigations
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and FAA policies
  • Ability to evaluate training programs for compliance
  • Medical qualification for aviation safety duties

Job Duties

  • Serve as a technical authority on cabin safety requirements
  • Provide technical support to assigned air carriers and operators
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and FAA policies
  • Conduct flight attendant training oversight
  • Investigate public complaints, congressional inquiries, and aircraft incidents
  • Conduct enforcement investigations and prepare reports
  • Monitor and evaluate training programs for compliance
