Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in aerospace or aviation repair or manufacturing
  • Familiarity with measurement tools and visual inspection techniques
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical manufacturing instructions
  • Ability to work in a drug-free workplace environment
  • Willingness to undergo DOT/FAA pre-employment drug testing

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in aircraft turbine engine component repair
  • Experience in composite component manufacture or repair
  • Experience in aerospace or aviation repair or manufacturing
  • Proficient with precision measuring hand tools
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and airworthiness directives
  • Ability to perform visual and detailed inspections
  • Airframe and Powerplant license preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform inspections of aircraft turbine engine components
  • Measure component defects using precision hand tools
  • Conduct visual inspections including preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections
  • Evaluate hardware at various repair process steps
  • Inspect hardware from outside processes
  • Organize and document inspection findings
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer’s technical data
