Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science in Engineering from an accredited ABET university
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio or Tennessee
  • Working knowledge of AutoCad, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office and other design software
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet scheduled deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours with a flexible schedule
  • Willingness to travel regionally
  • Capability to perform onsite assignments outdoors that may require physical exertion

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Negotiate project scope, schedule and budget with clients for engineering agreements
  • Coordinate, manage, and mentor supporting planners and engineers
  • Coordinate with support departments for project completion
  • Provide feedback to senior project managers, other engineers, and department manager regarding project schedule, profitability and department operations
  • Manage multiple simultaneous assignments and maintain own schedule
  • Demonstrate strong client development skills
  • Exhibit company values of honesty, professionalism, consideration, dedication, and accountability at all times
