Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing environmental or aviation-related programs
  • Proficiency with data analysis and noise monitoring systems
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with community stakeholders
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing noise management

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, public administration, or related field
  • Experience in aviation noise management or environmental program management
  • Strong knowledge of noise monitoring technologies and data analysis
  • Proven ability to manage complex programs and budgets
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local noise regulations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and community stakeholders

Job Duties

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Aviation Noise program
  • Ensure department functions align with Port policies, including budget and contracts
  • Champion decision-making across departments and recommend on complex business matters
  • Monitor federal, state, and local laws and industry best practices related to aviation noise
  • Manage and maintain aviation noise monitoring systems
  • Evaluate and implement technologies to improve program efficiency and data reporting
  • Manage community noise complaints and ensure high-quality customer service
  • Build community partnerships and deliver targeted outreach
  • Leverage digital platforms and public forums for community engagement
