Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing environmental or aviation-related programs
- Proficiency with data analysis and noise monitoring systems
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to engage with community stakeholders
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing noise management
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, public administration, or related field
- Experience in aviation noise management or environmental program management
- Strong knowledge of noise monitoring technologies and data analysis
- Proven ability to manage complex programs and budgets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local noise regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and community stakeholders
Job Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the Aviation Noise program
- Ensure department functions align with Port policies, including budget and contracts
- Champion decision-making across departments and recommend on complex business matters
- Monitor federal, state, and local laws and industry best practices related to aviation noise
- Manage and maintain aviation noise monitoring systems
- Evaluate and implement technologies to improve program efficiency and data reporting
- Manage community noise complaints and ensure high-quality customer service
- Build community partnerships and deliver targeted outreach
- Leverage digital platforms and public forums for community engagement
