Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to move throughout warehouse or line maintenance environments for extended periods of time up to 10-12 hours per day
- Ability to work through multiple problems and solutions prioritizing and sequencing the execution of issues to manage and resolve them quickly and effectively
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work outside in inclement weather
- Must be able to work shift work, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to successfully complete dangerous goods initial and recurring training
- Possible travel for training, deployment, and/or issue resolution up to 25% away from base
- Must obtain a valid driver’s license
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with inventory management or logistics preferred
- Knowledge of hazardous material handling and dangerous goods certification
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with maintenance and planning teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate in physically demanding environments
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work shift work, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Understand TechOps requirements such as MEL and deferred maintenance items to ensure aircraft reliability and readiness
- Collaborate with maintenance to ensure scheduled maintenance is available and prepicked to support operational requirements
- Collaborate with maintenance and planning to develop a 7-day forward-looking schedule for aircraft maintenance and parts requirements
- Streamline logistic requirements
- Monitor inventory levels
- Track and manage supplier discrepancies during receiving including paperwork and quantity issues
- Continuously improve inventory integrity through just-in-time concepts and first-in-first-out practices to cut spoilage
- Process all incoming goods through receiving and confirm paperwork accuracy
- Validate shelf-life requirements and ensure adequate time remaining on products
- Process unserviceable material through repair order process and return exchanges
- Ensure unserviceable material is returned to partners within allotted time to avoid penalties
- Develop processes to expedite repair order processing, update records, minimize waste, and track parts from aircraft removal to system update and transportation to partners
- Perform bin management functions such as cycle counts and year-end inventories
- Develop tracking systems to ensure compliance with counting schedules
- Conduct monthly shelf-life audits to manage spoilage
