Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must have certification as FAA Pilot or Maintenance certification, CMTE, or MTSP-C
- Previous work for an air medical Part 135 operator
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in medical transportation system
- 2 years of management experience
- Knowledge of rotor-wing and fixed-wing operations
- Ability to lead and work across multiple disciplines involved in air medical transport
Job Qualifications

- At least 2 years of management experience
- Knowledge of rotor-wing and fixed-wing operations
- Leadership ability across clinical, aviation, maintenance, communications, and administrative disciplines
- Master’s degree preferred
- Additional related certifications preferred
Job Duties
- Champion best practices in aviation safety and mission readiness
- Collaborate with safety officers, Mobile Medicine leaders, and vendors to implement AMRM/CRM protocols
- Lead event reviews
- Promote a just culture
- Build strong relationships with aviation personnel including MedCenter Air and AirCare
- Monitor and optimize maintenance and staffing schedules
- Develop actionable plans to ensure consistent aircraft availability
- Analyze operational data to identify gaps and develop metrics
- Drive fleet standardization across programs
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with vendors
- Support leadership in aviation asset and equipment planning
- Assess new base opportunities and reevaluate current locations
- Refine aircraft utilization and dispatch processes
- Maintain external partnerships to improve helipad safety and customer experience
- Advise and assist in negotiation of aviation and maintenance contracts
- Lead continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and safety training
- Participate in relevant industry associations
