Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 to 5 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license active and in good standing
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and perform vibration-balancing
- Skilled in sheet metal and composite repairs
- Ability to read and understand technical maintenance documents
- Ability to perform multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Ability to travel 25 to 50 percent of the time
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Adherence to company policies and federal regulations
- Compliance with drug and alcohol testing as per DOT/FAA rules
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 to 5 years’ related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
- Active and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required
- Experience with FAR 135 operations preferred
- Skilled in electrical troubleshooting and vibration balancing
- Proficient in sheet metal and composite repair procedures
- Ability to interpret technical documents such as Form 337s, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Professional team player with strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
- Efficient user of electronic and paper-based manuals
- Familiarity with company ERP systems (Ramco preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Job Duties
- Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- Verify part number and serial number match on installed or removed components
- Ensure all aircraft maintenance documentation complies with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and maintenance manuals
- Participate in the continuous improvement phase of the company’s Safety Management System
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
- Correct compliance or safety issues as directed by supervisory personnel
- Advise the Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues affecting aircraft serviceability
- Validate data in Status Reports regarding aircraft maintenance
- Request aviation parts and supplies to maintain inventory for operational readiness
- Perform other duties as assigned
