Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- active and current FAA A&P license
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- availability for 25 to 50 percent travel
- compliance with DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing policies
- regular scheduled attendance
- ability to maintain a clean and professional work environment
- ability to follow company employment practices and policies
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 to 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- factory airframe and power plant school preferred
- active and current FAA A&P license required
- FAR 135 operations experience preferred
- strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- knowledge of vibration balancing
- proficiency in sheet metal and composite repair procedures
- ability to interpret aviation documents such as 337s, service bulletins, airworthiness directives
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- team player with professional attitude
- flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
- proficient with electronic and paper maintenance manuals
- experience with ERP systems such as Ramco preferred
- strong communication skills
- problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Job Duties
- perform inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures and federal regulations
- verify part numbers and serial numbers during installation or removal
- ensure compliance of all maintenance documentation with federal aviation regulations and company policies
- actively participate in the company’s Safety Management System continuous improvement
- maintain clean and professional work area
- correct compliance or safety issues as directed by management
- advise pilots of maintenance issues that may ground aircraft
- validate data in aircraft status reports
- request aviation parts and supplies to maintain inventory
- perform other duties as assigned
