Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 to 5 years related experience and/or training
- Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
- Ability to travel 25 to 50 percent
- Compliance with DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing requirements
- Regular scheduled attendance
- Ability to follow Air Methods employment policies
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 to 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
- Active/current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required
- FAR 135 operations experience preferred
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and vibration-balancing
- Skilled in sheet metal and composite repair procedures
- Ability to read and understand 337 forms, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with professional attitude
- Flexibility to work overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
- Proficient in electronic and paper-based manuals
- Experience with ERP systems, Ramco preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Job Duties
- Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- Verify part numbers and serial numbers of components upon installation or removal
- Ensure all maintenance documentation complies with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and maintenance manuals
- Actively participate in the Safety Management System continuous improvement phase
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
- Correct compliance or safety issues as directed by supervisory staff
- Advise the Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues that affect aircraft serviceability
