Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 to 5 years related experience or training
- Active and current FAA A&P license
- Ability to provide timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to travel approximately 25 to 50 percent of the time
- Ability to maintain regular attendance
- Ability to follow Air Methods' employment policies and procedures
- Subject to DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to work flexible schedules including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
- active and current FAA A&P certification required
- FAR 135 operations experience preferred
- Skilled in electrical troubleshooting and vibration balancing
- Knowledge of sheet metal and composite repair procedures
- Ability to read and understand technical documents such as 337 forms, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives
- Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with professional attitude
- Flexibility to work overtime and participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
- Proficient with electronic and paper-based manuals and vendor data
- Experience with ERP systems (Ramco preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Job Duties
- Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Verify part numbers and serial numbers on components during installation or removal
- Ensure all aircraft maintenance documentation complies with regulations, company policies, and maintenance manuals
- Participate actively in the company Safety Management System for continuous safety improvement
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
- Address compliance or safety issues as directed by management
- Advise Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues affecting aircraft serviceability
- Request aviation parts and supplies to ensure operational readiness
- Other duties as assigned
