Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training
  • Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license in good standing
  • Ability to provide on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Regular scheduled attendance
  • Ability to travel 25 to 50 percent
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules
  • Compliance with DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • 2 to 5 years related experience and/or training
  • Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
  • Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required
  • Experience with FAR 135 operations preferred
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of vibration balancing
  • Sheet metal and composite repair skills
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance documents such as 337s, Service Bulletins, and ADs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with professional attitude
  • Flexible with schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Proficient with electronic and paper-based manuals
  • Experience with company ERP system Ramco preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Job Duties

  • Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Verifies by physical inspection or markings on parts that part numbers and serial numbers match associated documentation upon installation or removal
  • Ensures all aircraft maintenance documentation complies with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and maintenance manuals
  • Actively participates in continuous improvement of the Safety Management System and is familiar with SMS policies, processes, and procedures
  • Maintains a clean and professional work area
  • Corrects compliance or safety issues when directed by management
  • Advises the Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service
  • Validates or confirms data in the Status Report concerning the aircraft worked on
  • Requests aviation parts and supplies to maintain inventory for operational readiness
  • Performs other duties as assigned
