Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to five years of aircraft maintenance experience
  • FAA A&P license in good standing
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and vibration issues
  • Knowledge of sheet metal and composite repair
  • Ability to interpret FAA and manufacturer documentation
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • On-call availability and willingness to travel 25 to 50 percent
  • Ability to maintain accurate maintenance documentation
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP software
  • Ability to follow safety management system procedures
  • Compliance with DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing requirements
  • Regular attendance
  • Ability to perform physical inspections and validate aircraft components.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two to five years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required and in good standing
  • Experience or training from factory airframe and power plant schools preferred
  • Prior experience in FAR 135 operations preferred
  • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration balancing
  • Knowledge of sheet metal and composite repair procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as FAA Form 337s, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives
  • Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent team player with a professional attitude
  • Flexibility to work overtime and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Efficient in using electronic and paper-based maintenance manuals and vendor data
  • Ability to learn and use ERP systems such as Ramco
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Job Duties

  • Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Verify part numbers and serial numbers by physical inspection or markings upon installation or removal of components
  • Ensure all aircraft maintenance documentation complies with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, procedures, and maintenance manuals
  • Participate actively in the continuous improvement phase of the company’s Safety Management System and follow SMS policies and procedures
  • Maintain clean and professional work area
  • Correct compliance or safety issues as directed by leadership
  • Advise Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues affecting aircraft serviceability
  • Validate data in the aircraft Status Report
  • Request aviation parts and supplies to maintain an adequate inventory for operational readiness
  • Provide timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Perform periodic travel to support Part 135 operations and company objectives
  • Follow all company policies and employment practices diligently.
