Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- interest or experience designing general aviation, commercial service, or military airfields
- basic use of AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software
- introduction to AVI-Plan software packages
- experience with Microsoft Office
- ability to work in a team environment
- commitment to employee-owned culture

Job Duties
- be aware of FAA orders and advisory circulars (AC), UFC requirements, local agency requirements, and client manuals
- be informed of at least one specialty element (e.g., pavement, drainage, lighting, signage)
- participate in technical talent identification and career journey activities
- engage with HDR airfield design community of practice (CoP)
- contribute to process and tool application and development
- use basic AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software and AVI-Plan software packages
- prepare elements of aviation related designs, studies, and/or reports under direction
- compile project records and maintain SharePoint sites, project files
- provide marketing support
- maintain an updated resume
- perform other duties as needed
