Job Requirements
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Must be legal to work in the United States (a citizen or national of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work)
- Must own valid United States or foreign passport with applicable VISAs
- Must have the right to travel freely in and out of the United States, to and from all cities served by CommutAir without restriction
Job Qualifications
- Hold a valid FAA Dispatch certificate
- Excellent communication skills, written, spoken, and radio
- Intermediate computer skills, especially MS Office and department-specific software
- Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken
Job Duties
- Assist with development and oversight of dispatcher training courseware
- Liaison with other departments within CommutAir, FAA, and industry peers
- Maintain dispatch training records
- Maintain currency as an aircraft dispatcher for CommutAir and work as a dispatcher if required
- Scheduling dispatch training
- Conduct ground school and competency checks for dispatchers
- Perform duties assigned by the Chief Dispatcher
- Accountable for the Safety Management System (SMS) responsibilities described in the Company’s SMS Manual and 14 CFR part 5.23
